Physical – chemical features of the water
Detailed research of Laktaši Spa water quality, all of them conducted in the period form 1878 to 1985 indicate that thermal water of Laktaši Spa can be included into the group of clean hypothermal waters, having all the characteristics of calcium-hydrocarbon water. The water temperature is 30,4 ˚C, it is clear, without colour, no flavour nor odour. Profusion of the spring is secured throughout the year and on average amounts to 41,2 l/s.
According to physical-chemical characteristics, the water of Laktaši Spa can be used for:
- treatment of the following diseases: chronic gastritis, high blood pressure, heart and blood vessel diseases, stomach and intestines, kidney and urinary channels, psychoneurosis and the like;
- treatment for patients exhausted by work and daily activities, using baths, hydrotherapy, gymnastics, walking and active rest;
- fast and successful treatment of convalescents;
- recreation for healthy people.
