According to opinions of prominent scientists, thermal waters from Laktasi heals wide spectrum of illnesses - from heart and blood circulation disfunctions, to light methabolism disorders.

LAKTASI, 7th March 1982th. - Newly opened hotel "San" introducted Laktasi community into map of tourism-health centers. Institutions mentioned on this map are supposed to be known world-wide. There are known properties of water, accomodation possibilities and medical accomplishment so medical doctors can recommend their clients where they can find healing through radioactive waters rich with minerals. To be honest, Laktasi do not has capacity nor they are known as Spa Vrucica near Teslic, Vrnjacka Banja, Rogaska Slatina or Rimske Toplice, but since long time ago it is known in this area where the best place for rest is.

With its 160 beds, saunas, swimming pools, baths for massage, rich medical and tourism topics, "San" do not wait for barons or earls but the modern nomads, tired of hard work, all the people who want to fight sucessfuly with business duties.

As dr Srboljub JEFTIC mentioned, in the first phase it is planed to show spa's main influence on organism's health status. This is why the hotel got name "San" ("Dream"), associating at sweet dream after therapy on Laktasi thermal waters.

At 1992. is started inspection of thermal waters in this area. First results confirmed that it is natural thermal sourly water, radioactive, which can be used for drink and bath. Profesor dr Stanko MIHOLIC from Zagreb investigated this resource in the period 1954-1956th. He noticed that there is constant temperature of this water both at summer and winter rated at 30.4 Celsious degrees and that its radioactivity is 0,8745 Machs degrees. He also determined that this source has capacity of 60 liters per second.
 
Besides therapeutic usability, therma could be used in rehabilitation process after some wounds and infections (poliomielitis). Therma is tuned for that because there is available enough water for building pools needed for underwater gymnastics and temperature of water is appropriate - as noted by profesor dr Stanko MIHOLIC.

Academic profesor dr Marko CIGLAR compared Laktasi water with similar waters from the world and he made broad list of ilnesses which can be healed there - ilnesses of heart, circulation, problems with nerve system, high blood pressure, status after wounding (especially Morbus Sudeck) and also organism's weakness and exhaustion. Drinking this water it is possible to cure lighter disorders of methabolism.

"As it is known today, this water has big influence on basic condition of human organism, especially within older population. From organo-pathologycal view its sedative acting and ability to quiet down pain of some systems, together with neurological distrurbances is noticeable." - is written at raport from academic profesor dr Marko CIGLAR.

Specialist from Banja Luka, dr Alija RAMLJAK is investigating effect of this water on diabetes and stomach ulcer. He is watching group of guests for years (having mentioned symphtoms) and all experiences assembled so far shows that these sympthoms can be cured in Laktasi spa. Dr Ramijak stil do not say that this spa can completely cure mentioned ilnesses but he is sure that it is helpful in their controling.
