The area of Laktaši Municipality is an area of unusually attractive beauty, situated along the boundary at which the wide Panonian flat is crossing the river Sava, then flowing into the most northern slopes of Bosnian mountains.
Being situated at important road junctions connecting the Panonian area to the Adriatic Sea, this area was and still is the region where many people used to come and go; some decided to stay.
The combination of the mountains Kozara and Crni vrh and the flat area of Lijevče polje, cut by meanders of the Vrbas river do contribute the rich offer based on centuries old tradition of spa tourism in Laktaši.
