In
early June, the 'Strawberry Day' event is traditionally held in Slatina. This
cultural - entertainment, business and tourist event is conceived as a blend of
agriculture and tourism, through the development of horticulture in the tourist
and spa town of Slatina. In addition to the exhibition of strawberries and the
selection of the most successful strawberries, the manifestation is accompanied
by various cultural and entertainment contents.
The manifestation became very recognizable throughout the region, and Slatina strawberries became a brand of the Slatina region, almost as well known as spa Slatina and the natural healing sources that surround it.
